I love civic pub! Pool room is great, drinks are good, atmosphere is great. Just about the only pub/club in Canberra that you don't nearly freeze to death inside of. Super neat and tidy :)

We had Sunday lunch, to celebrate a significant birthday. The dining room was very comfortable for our large, multi aged group. The food was tasty and everyone could find something suitable. The staff were very helpful. We were able to bring along a birthday cake (very reasonable cakeage fee), which they cut up and served. Communication with the venue was clear and efficient.

Not my first rodeo at City Pub but about time i reviewed. Best crumped lamb chops i have had in a lo......EVER GREAT service as usual. Can't fault a great place to catch up with friends

We had a great experience at the Civic pub. Fabulous service from the lovely barmaid with long blond hair, glasses and an American or Canadian accent. She took us to our seats, moved us to a quieter location, gave us two free drinks because it was our anniversary. She couldn't have been nicer. We also had a great meal in a beautiful setting. We will definitely be back.

Great aussie pub. Always has a lively atmosphere. clean and modern throughout, yet still holding onto that classic old-school pub charm. Food was good too.

Fun experience at Civic Pub! Held our work end of year celebration in the Lounge section and it was a great. The vintage vibe was on point, food was delicious and great value, and the service was spot on, big shout out to Sean for sorting our reservations and the service staff for being top notch. Drinks were easy to order and the atmosphere was perfect for our crew. Even got a few games of pool going, which was a bonus! Would definitely recommend Civic Pub for your next event - thanks for a pleasant evening!

Tastefully decorated, great food and good customer service. Can be a bit noisy at times but that's due to it always being very busy. Different rooms all have a different feel

Great pub. Well located near the centre of the CBD. Food is excellent and good variety of drinks. Service is great. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Inside can be noisy when it's busy, but still worth it.

great pub and accommodation. probably oldest venue in ACT. gives you a glimpse of the fast changing fast growing city of Canberra. Good food / wine or beverage options. I have to say... I miss the cook your own Steaks etc. was really good …
